I played Squier Cyclones today here in Winnipeg, Canada in Shell Pink, Daphne Blue, Fiesta Red and a yellowed White. They all look super cool. Much better than the stock colours. And only $199 CDN.

So, Canada has them, and we have better colours.

You're correct. The 22.75 is also found on the Squier Mini. The full scale HK has a narrow nut and thinner body to make it super light.

There is no link or pictures. But here is the contact info for the store if you want to check:

661 Wall Street
Winnipeg (formerly Mother's Music), Manitoba
R3G 2T5
Phone: (204) 783-6045
Fax: (204) 786-0977
Email: winnipegnorth@long-mcquade.com

I deal with a gentleman named Jake.
Again, I held and strummed a white one, a surf green one, a daphne blue one, and a fiesta red one. I didn't see a pink one, but they may have had one. As I said above, I was excited when I found a picture online of a pink one (in Japan) and had it on my mind when I typed the wrong one. They got them Friday afternoon and I was in on Saturday afternoon.
They are closed Mondays but open Tuesdays. In Canada, we have Boxing Day sales on the 26th, so I might pick one up if they are blowing them out that day.

That is insane. I don't understand how that is possible. I would buy one so quickly in any of those colors.

I wasn't interested in the Cyclone until I saw it in these colours. Shows how superficial we can be: colour matters.

It still has a Strat trem, so that is a downside. (Trying to talk myself out of it.)

You mean like these?

I'm pretty sure those are Japanese Squier Cyclones...

I doubt these are going to be widely available to the north american market . Your shoppe might have had them imported.
At any speed, $199 is an incredible deal for one of these, given their unavailability. I am dying with jealousy that you have a shot at one.
GET THE SURF GREEN AND SELL IT TO MEEEEEEEEEE!!!

I went back today, as they were open for the last week until Christmas. They have the four colours I mentioned, all stamped made in Indonesia. Any Long & McQuade in Canada should have them (it's a chain up here). Alas, no pink according to their system, but they have contacted their Fender rep for me to check.

The Fiesta Red one was lighter than the other three. The Green one looks best, to me at least.

USD would be probably about $180, plus shipping.

I also checked the Squier Short Scale Jaguar Bass. $169, but $25 off with the Fender rebate. Boxing Day sales may make them even cheaper.

I just checked prices. Guitar Center $200. Musicians Friend $170. Anybody know of any sales or promo coming up? The black and sunburst have my attention.
