<3 Peavey so hard. i'm guessing those have the scorpion speakers, which I feel are pretty neutral or whatever. let me know how this stuff sounds with jensens or vintage 30's or something.
mine is easily the heaviest amp i've used. or at least most awkward.
previously i used a tubeworks head with a 4X12 fender cabinet
and a 4X12 fender deville
fender 2x10? prnceton chorus (solid state)
marshal 2X12 solid state from the 70s, which was surprisingly cool
and a crate gx120 (ouch, haha)
Maybe it's the Black Widows. I've heard they're significantly heavier.
My bandmates, i suspect, thought i was just being wimpy, but since they've each moved it once (up stairs) neither will move it again!

I used the Deuce for the first rehearsal last night. Took some adjusting to in a small room, it either seemed to be too loud or too quiet, i got there in the end though.
I found the onboard distortion quite usable with the pre gain high and post gain low which was a pleasant surprise. I'd resigned myself to the idea i would have to use the TS7 or MZ-2. Its not so much a chugga chugga sound like i got from the Line 6, more of a treaditional high mids raw Punk sound. Black Flag territory.
The channel switch is a good boost for solos as well.
