Hello
I use the johnny shredfreak power supply that we all like and I still have no problems with its performance. However I noticed today that an unused jack on the daisy chain touched a pedal enclosure and electricity arced between the two. I've never seen this happen before, it it normal? Or have I got an issue?
I then felt a little nip on my arm as I stood up which is far more likely to have a scratch from the bridge that a shock but this all still has me suspicious enough about the power supply to have stopped using it.

This sounds like it may be the cure to my problem also. Occasionally when I turn a pedal on or off, it seems that my board 'resets' itself. The Boss EQ turns itself on (the pedal seems to always turn on when first powered up, regardless of whether it was on or off before) and the Boss TU3 pedal comes up with '0' like it does when first given power.
It has only been doing it since I added a few more pedals to my board, which required an extra daisy chain to be added to the existing one, and now there are some spares. At first I thought it may have been a dodgy pedal, but it seems to happen randomnly regardless of what pedal I turn on/off. It did it once at the end of one of my sets, so the guitar got thrown on the floor, STAGE RAGE.
I'm going to try taping the spares up, and hopefully I'll be cured
