That's an exceptional piece of furniture.
I wish they'd keep the banjo tuners on Firebirds. It's one of the few genuinely cool ideas they've ever had, so they could do without homogenising it so much.
ITT: Guitars none of us are going to buy in a million years
Well, except the Marauder. It's cheap, weird and rooted in '60s Fender lore just enough that someone will make a "you know what, fuck you guys i do what i want" thread about buying one before 2012 is over.

I would have so bought that soapbar Jaguar if they just placed the knobs in their correct place and had a simple fucking 90 degree jack like a real Jaguar should (I would have accepted a flush mount side jack). I was thinking about buying it as a modding project but fuck it. It would have to be completely rerouted in terms of controls to get it to my liking. Leave it to Fender to somehow ruin something that should be completely sexy: a mahogany dual P90 stoptail Jaguar. If you're a Fender offset, you have to look at least as good as a Jagmaster.

If I did get that guitar, I think I'd want a half pickguard made for it to cover as much of the controls as possible, hopefully everything down to the Strat jack.

I dont like that they went with a strat jack but I do like the placement of the volume knob. Good place for swells. Reminds me of an old Gibson Les Paul Special. Kind of want but will most likely get a tele with p-90s.
