You're hearing the kick drum in sync with the bass for 90% of that bassline which makes it sound more THUMPY.

RIGHT!!!!

i want a guitar pedal that mimic's that

if they can make guitar pedals sound like all these other insturments and make wayyyy cool noises you think someone would have invented a pedal that goes THUNK THUNK THUNK THUNK when you play.

like im playing my guitar with a brick instead of a pick

Seems like heavy strings and a heavy plectrum wouldn't go amiss. Very short attack and release times and a high ratio on a compressor should give you that click too.

i use/do everything you said (to an extreme in some cases with the strings) but haven't tried a compressor yet

Shame it wasn't the other way around you wanted (adding music to drums); you could do fun stuff with triggers like Duracell:

Wow, Turrican. One of the best games ever, one of the best game soundtracks ever, too.

EHX makes a pedal called the "Knockout attack equalizer." Might be worth checking out.

I think what you're looking for is an expander. It's basically the opposite of a compressor, it increases your dynamic range. They're usually found in rackmounted equipment with a noise gate or compressor, but EHX have a bass expander called the Steel Leather (for some reason) which might be worth checking out.

you know how there is a difference between rumbling thunder and cracking thunder?

say your guitar tone is 50/50 rumble/crack.

im looking for something that increases the point of impact to say 80% crack and follows with 20% rumble.

in effect actually decreasing sustain....putting more energy in the initial pluck and less into the string vibrating.

then turning it up really fucking loud so your balls rattle.
This is my new favourite guitar tone discussion of all time.
