Looks good. Not a fan of the signature on the front of the headstock though. It also comes in Metallic KO (based off of old CAR turned Orange)

Do not want.

I hope a few of the switch plates show up on the bay, though. I would love to put a tele switch in my jag project.

It's certainly more appealing than the last 3 or 4 Jags Fender released.

I like the look a lot. The gappy Mustang saddles are really disappointing, though. You don't even see them on new Japanese Mustangs anymore.

The blade switch is a 4-way Tele with series option.

As for the rhythm circuit, which has been wisely removed, one's a universal strangle switch, one's a strangle switch for the series position only. Overall well thought out, but I'd have preferred one kill and one strangle.

four-position blade-style pickup switch mounted to the lower-horn chrome plate (bridge, bridge and neck in parallel, neck, bridge and neck in series);

Basically its like the 4 way switch on the Baja Tele. Brilliant. I approve. I would love a Jaguar with those options. I like the all white as well.

The in series option should become a standard on all guitars with 2 single coils It's one of the best sounds in the world... the only reason I keep my dano 63.

Gotta wonder how many prototypes he ended up receiving while designing it.

All in all, it's really cool to see how incredibly tweaked the whole thing is, from the slimmer body contours and mods to the trem/bridge, to the creativity of having both a strangle plus the additional filter to optionally trim the phat added only to the series switching circuit (I think that's how it goes). Bigger neck from the mid '60s, decent pickups, no stone left unturned...with very few parts actually coming from standard Fender stock (maybe the tuners, strap buttons, and pickguard lol) I can't see this thing being anywhere near affordable.

But it's still likely to the best candidate for a workhorse shortscale guitar that is not only very playable, but has all teh toanz. Looking forward to seeing Andy at PGS giving it a comprehensive spin.

I still can't believe they used gappy Mustang saddles, though. It's the one stupid blemish on an otherwise very well thought out guitar. And also, I think the whole polarity thing is bullshit. I actually like having a quiet guitar.

So that's two things I disagree with, which is actually pretty low for a production guitar and so easily fixed. Everything else is very intelligently thought out.
