What can you tell me about this bad boy? I read online the MKII label was on many different amps.

Seems like it is worth double the asking price.

Re: Marshall Folk:
I had one and I loved it. I only sold it to get through University because I was so goddamn poor. I was looking to sell it over here for £500 and I ended up getting £450 for it. If its going for that in the US of A, then thats a mad steal. Grab it if you have the spare cash.cobascis wrote:What can you tell me about this bad boy? Big and broad tone, not exactly what I expected form a Marshall but it still has that really warm and mid heavy tone. Built like a tank and weighs a fucking ton. Dew it.

buy it, thats so worth it. I had one just like it but it was the master version, they rock. The more open sound is due to the fact that its an open backed cab. Those speakers alone are worth it, 70's era 25 watt blackbacks. You can always buy a head shell for it if you prefer the half stack route or just get a 2x12 closed back cab to compliment it. I personally like how it sounds and so did Thin Lizzy.
