Excelsior looks cool, and both amps seem decently priced.

Ooh, the Super Champ X2 HD has speaker-simulated USB output. THAT is pretty nifty. It's still got a fucking awful name though.

I want a 300 W Bassman, pardon, SUPER BASSMAN through 8x10 Cab so bad. That would be a nice bedroom amp if you have the right bedroom.

Look at fender thinking outside the box. I'm excited about this.

This is really neat.

A long time ago I used to have access to an Ampeg with 15" speaker. I'm guessing this amp probably won't sound anywhere near as good but it has tremolo and 15" speaker. That's really cool.

That 15" looks interesting. So does the champ head as well. The USB out simulator could be very useful for me as I usually just run a headphone/line out into PA for most gigs instead of hauling around cabinets. Good Fender clean tones, small, can push a cabinet or go direct...looks good to me.

Seems like that'd be an extra step though, seeing as you'd need to plug it into a laptop or something first then plug THAT into the PA?

Obviously it's got a 1/4" line out too but they don't mention if that has speaker emulation..

I work with a woman named Greta. That would look funny with the rose on my desk at work. Awkward.

I'm really interested in both the excelsior and the greta. They both seem really cool.

I'm also interested in trying out the 300 watt bassman. That 810 cab seems absurdly massive, it looks even bigger than an ampeg 810 which is already massive enough! Even with neodynium speakers that thing looks like it's gonna be a bitch to move around.
