Since they're on a big offset kick and they own Charvel, they should just re-release the Charvel Surfcaster while they at it.

I know it's the one last offset I'd love to have.

Dear Fender, Thank you for addressing the shit show of a bridge/trem unit you have going on with them jags and jazzys. Kudos for solving the problems completely on the Classic PLayer models. I appreciate your bravery for trying to address said issues on more traditional "rich man" models.

I mentioned the lefty compstang to my friend last night and the conclusion is that I can't get one without getting a ton of shit about being teh Kurtez. I thought they'd be safe since I'd never even seen him playing that thing and figured no normal person out there would know, but he's like "dude, it's the one from the Teen Spirit video, out of any guitar that's the one everyone knows him as playing". Fuck. I ain't getting one.

There is nothing wrong with liking Kurt's guitars...they are sick.
I play my custom 24 all day long for the music I play as of late, but Nirvana is what got me into the guitar back in 92 so I will always have a Kurt style guitar even if I don't play it as much as my PRS

This is why I get so much shit about teh kurdtz and why I try to avoid shit like this. I just want a left handed Mustang, but I can't get one unless it's a kurtz guitar. That sucks.

You could just get a haircut then! Easier than avoiding Compstangs.

Hair cuts require a lot of maintenance, ie I have to keep having them done, and I hate getting my hair cut. Besides, it doesn't stop the comparisons. Nothing ever does. People used to ask if my Supersonic was a Jagstang. People have asked if my Musicmaster is a Jagstang.

If I buy one of these, I'm never playing it live, and never telling anyone about it.

I'm sure it does, but what does that have to do with these guitars?

Maybe you care too much? ^_^

I've had Mustangs early and often and nobody ever calls me Kurt. Then again, I'm Asian.

Besides, ain't nothing wrong with Kurt. Dude wrote good songs and girls think he's hot.

Be a man, if you like it and want it, buy it! It seems as though you care what other people think way to much!

Riiiiight. Sure, I could, and I could also just forget about ever being taken seriously as a musician ever again.
