Same actually. I've been really hankering after a 70's reissue strat and I've just seen this

I think a Squier with an offset body and tele pickups would have been better than this.

the Squier 70s Strat is massive boner town. I'm definitely buying that.

Loving that. The 2011-2012 period is looking like another excellent period for Squier.

They look mint. Not too far away from my Telebastard build but the 70's headstock and Jazzer pup really add a special touch.

are these out yet or are we waiting until after NAMM. I would buy a tele and a strat... Blonde Tele and black strat please... OR really, either color of either one I could handle... Throw in a squier J Jazzmaster and I'd be pretty set for less than any one American fender...
They say great minds think alike....Sometimes we do too...

DAMNIT I WANT ONE OF THESE.

Colors are boring but if it's cheap enough I'll just refinish it.

Apart from a banging donk, that telecaster needs Jazzmaster trem on it. Then I would sell a vital organ for it to enhance every aspect of my lief.

I think they look great. Kinda dumb they left the jazzmaster decals on these though.
Would definitely pick one of these up if I come across one for a decent price.

They always come up a little pricer than we can get in the UK itself (when they're finally released). So I imagine around £250 for the Strat and £260 for the Tele.

Played one these today, it's really nice. I'm impressed by the new squiers.

Haven't had a chance to plug them in, hopefully tomorrow.

Be still my beating heart... I've been wanting a Tele forever but JM neck pups are my favorite.

This is the coolest new guitar Squier has released yet, IMO.
