I like both finishes as well, though the purple is more me.
I don't have a problem with the moved tremolo plate, but I am surprised they moved it on this particular guitar. Most anniversary guitars usually have vintage specs, so it's interesting to see them do it on this guitar.

It did earlier. Fender's site appears to be running slow.

Unsold repurposed classic player jags with 'special' pickups. Not that the AVRI isn't already a perfect reissue so really what's the point..?

The blue is gorgous... kinda sold on burgundy mist.
Don't care for the moved trem, but, it's not so bad. The old trem positioning and resulting lack of sustain are part of what make a Jag sound like a Jag... short release in the envelope. That said, the ability to sustain longer is nice
We'll see what the hot pickups are like, I suppose.

Yea repurposed CPs. Those "hotter" pups are probably the same "hot" pups the CP jag has.
Damn. Stop moving the vibrato. If it ain't broke don't fix it!
I would so go for one of these in BMM if the vibrato was in the OG position. Fuck. MUVVAFUKKAZ

I think it's great that this 50th anniversary edition is NOTHING like an original 1962. More of a mish-mash of features that have appeared on Jaguars, over the years.
To me, that's what an anniversary edition should be.
