Audix into the PA, PA vibrating drum heads, creating cool ass drum feedback! And obviously ou saw the microsynth helping some. the suboctave was awesome, the feedback usually wanted to go to an upper harmonic, the sub actually helped the fundamental shine through.

Actually, all the audio was captured via the camera's onboard mic, i forgot my FUCKING COMPUTER so we didnt get a proper recording.

I bought that audix to replace a broken CAD

(Which used to be $40!!)

and the audix has like, 2/3 of the bass response, so I ended up getting the CAD again, and using the audix on low toms and other less important toanz.

lol, i used to have that whole cad drum mic kit and i think it sold for that much. damn.
i really like the d6, it's kinda pre-eq'd for kick stuff though, not as full frequency as some other options.
