Supersonic/Musicmaster Dimensions

Post by mkt3000 »

So.. while my Supersonic and 1978 Musicmaster are both away, I thought I'd get them some hard cases from Musicians Friend (their ebay store is the only way to get stuff shipped free to here).

Does anyone that owns one or the other (or both) mind measuring them for me, so I know which case works best?

Thanks!

supersoinc may be a little tricky but my guess (and just a guess) is that the jazzmaster/jaguar case would work.

the music master will fit in a vintage style strat case though. That's what I, and others, have used to mustang cases.

The both fit the second case I listed here.

I just tested it. Granted, the Supersonic is a touch bit long and comes right up to the edge of the lip, it still fits in there.

My Musicmaster also fits in there, again, it's snug at the headstock but it fits. Also granted, my Musicmaster is a copy that I made, but it should be the same length.
