THIS will no doubt sell at a low price due to the finish.

I would hit that if I didn't already have one. Great guitars. The rough finish is a plus.

heh.. it's already at more than twice what I paid for mine. Albeit, no hard case- only a gig bag that reeked of weed.

Bonus! The only way a case should smell.

Danheron was after something similar & cheap. I'd be very tempted as well if I could get some spare cash

My only concern would be the scratches on the back of the neck, i'd ask to see detailed pics first. The finish is no big deal or the screw holes. Thing is, Squier Duo Sonics retail at £250, from past experience i'd prefer a late 70s Musicmaster any day.
Even i'm looking around at what i could sell to buy this.

Looks cool, I'm after something like that. Would prefer 2 pickups but if the price is right I would go for it. Currently bidding on something else so will have to see how that goes first.

I've emailed him, asked for detailed pics of the neck scratches and fret wear. Also asked if there are any cracks around the neck pocket seeing as it looks like its been thrown down several flights of stairs.
Its extremely unlikely i will have the money for it but i've been known to do careless things when something has no bids with 50 seconds left..

I never had to Febreze a guitar I hadn't gigged with until the day I got the Musicmaster.

He emailed me back, said the frets are in reasonably good condition and he has'nt noticed any cracks. He also said he'd email me pics of the back of the neck but mentioned his camera is'nt great quality.

i bet the camera fell down the stairs at the same time as the guitar

Haha. I think its worth a punt at £250, the last black 70s MM i bought from the states was in worse condition than this and i think i paid £200 for that over three years ago.

AT that price it's well worth a go. There was a Black 70's Musicmaster in Gamlins in Cardiff a few months ago and they had that up for £500, I think IIRC.
