WOuld it be possible to put a Jag trem set up on one of those silver sparkle Squier Jagmasters?

Anything's possible with enough time and money.

But this would be a pain, especially when you go about filling in the gap the strat trem leaves behind and try to match the finish.

This.

The Jag trem itself is really easy to fit, it is surface mount and only requires a small route.
If you got a custom guard cut to extend over the area you would have to fill then fit a TOM, it may look okay. It would be worth making a diagram first to see if it does look okay.
