Hardtailing a Strat Trem
New idea I just found. Tele bridge mounted over the Strat Trem cavity by drilling six holes in a tele bridge to mount it directly in to the strat trem pivoting screws. If one had a topload tele bridge, that would solve the string-thru problem.
I've been looking for the easiest way (other than a block of wood) to hardtail my Super-Sonics.
Thoughts?

A Whole Bunch of Guitars. Some with sparkles. Some with Pearl. Some with racing stripes.

I don't know how polished you'd want the whole thing to look afterwards, but the tele bridge thing would leave a large and very-visible hole all the way through the guitar on the front.
See the plug in SRV's strat because of the lefty bridge he installed

5 springs and crank down the claw as always been the easiest way. The hipshot idea looks interesting but I would think requires some wood work. I've never tried it but you can drill a hole thru the block then use a bolt and a jam nut. You'd still need to keep springs on to complete the ground circuit
