Fender Color Chart - Traffic Report from Chopper Dave
I'm not sure which forum is best for this (whorehouse? resources?) but it's been a pretty massive undertaking so I'll put it here and let someone else decide that.
Sometime ago Robroe made a photobucket folder with an image for each color. Following that I made a flash file with the bulk of the colors I had found but it was a little cumbersome, everything had to load at once and it was a pain to update in the way I had made it. Here is the third version. A standard site that is fairly easy to update and easy to browse.
There is still a fair bit to do, such as the international colors, but for now it's at a pretty good place. I also need to find a decent top domain for it but I'm happy with the free host I'm using.

I've used some of the images submitted from here but I'd certainly welcome more.
Much thanks to Reece for sorting out a problem I had with the javascript to make the side menu re-open to the active section when loading a new page. I'd pretty much given up on making that work and it had put me off the entire project.
One thing I still need to sort out is adding something to get some statistics. Though I'm not sure the best way to go about that.

Well the shortscale 'launch' was a bit of an anti-climax. Hopefully this mirror of the site works a bit better.

Sorted. That should be the last two that are only partially upload.stewart wrote:ja.James wrote:I don't think I did blue sparkle and silver sparkle yet, but I think those are the only two missing pages. Is it those two you meant?
Now I've got the format down it's relatively easy to add new stuff. I'll start with the ones I already have the details for like the international series and Eric Johnson strats and then move on to the rarer stuff.

Wow this is amazing. Great job.
Here's another great site that can be helpful for anyone trying to match some of the old colors on their projects.
