My name is Mark (duh) I'm 42 years old, and have played bass for over 22 years. About 10 years ago I bought a bronco for my son, but I wasn't happy with it. didn't like the bridge, didn't like the pup, thought there was a lot I could do to make it better... so I started experimenting... and here's the results
Dimarzio neck Jazz pickup in bridge position
Willpower pickup in neck position
custom pickguard, metal control plate
stacked volume knobs
replacement bridge
vintage amber tint neck
custom decal with my last name on it

here's how it started out life

now here's the kicker... even though I'm 6'8", I'm giving serious consideration to using this with my own classic rock band. the bass sounds great with flats, and I can get around the neck so freaking fast it's not even funny
Did I mention that I have a bad back and this bass is FIVE pounds lighter than my peavey t-40? It doesn't feel like I'm even holding it, it's so light
anyway, I would really rather have a sunburst guitar, so I'm looking at mustangs or even hagstrom vikings.
nice to be here!
Mark
