What's a proper mustang decal - gold spaghetti like ?

I learnt these have low profile switches which is pretty cool.

I'm really up for getting a fiesta red mustang eventually, should be getting one in my shop wednesday-ish next week.

more importantly WHY DOES FENDER STILL NOT SAY WHERE THE THING IS MADE? It's even for sale on musiciansfriend.com now and I still don't know

It's prolly the same place in Japan where the Pawnshop Mustang is made . Just a guess though from looking at the guitars .. The logo and such.

It's MIA.
One more thing... pay attention to Fender codes, you'll find those on their website they look like:

0117602806 - 011 means it's MIA
0100132809 - 010 means it's MIA
0139100326 - 013 means it's MIM
0141102303 - 014 means it's MIM
0170301750 - 017 means it's MIA (USA) ? Select Series, fancy tops
0241400502 - 024 means it's MIC (China) - Modern Player series
0259200306 - 025 means it's MIJ
0266002306 - 026 means it's MIJ
0273706554 - 027 means it's MIJ
0303000503 - 030 means it's MIC (China)
0310603503 - 031 means it's MII ?
0321602565 - 032 means it's MII (Indonesia)

...I've simply gathered that info after seeing things written on Fenders over the years :D .

Hope this helps, think it covers most of Fenders today.

...backside of Fender Telecaster MODERN PLAYER Series. Those are very first Fenders (of unfortunately many to come, it seems) that are made in China.
