Apologize if this is old as hell or already been posted somewhere on the boards, but I've only just noticed that Eastwood have done a new Phase 4 styled Hi-Flyer with a BadAss bridge like the guitar Cobain used in the Heart Shaped Box video, described as Detailed replica of famous Nirvana model.

I like how they've copied the pickup covers and done the Phase 4 decal in the old Univox font. Looks to be bolt-on too, I wonder if the body is super thin as it was on the Univox guitars or really thick as on the P90 set-neck Eastwood Hi-Flyers.

Kurt's smashed original as it appeared on eBay a few years back:

Pretty nifty, I always like the slightly wonky vibe about that guitar.

i always liked the look of that..that video where they're playing at rhino records in 89..i never paid much attention but now i watched and seems a univox headstock but is it ?

anyway... i guess it's cool all this stuff coming out, tbh i got so bored with gear from 2009 or so to now..nothing much interesting coming out, the same teles, lp, strats and all jsut slightly different. but i'm checking some stuff now and kinda weird the cool guitars coming out at no insane prices..like somehow there's a demand for some oddball things and companies realize people go 2ndhand hunting for odd guitars so they kind of pick up on that with reissues and replicas.

ive always wanted to try one due to the thin neck and high output humbuckers. I don't know what shape the neck is though, i don't jive with U shape very well.
