i'm in the anti-maple camp as well, but must agree with this. i've tried a few blonde/maple squier JMs and have been impressed. For $150 or less it would be an excellent guitar to have around. I don't even mind those Duncan Design pups. But yeah, the strat jack has to go. thank god for totally modd.
