i just thought of it...AIDS WOLF they use traynors..bass..i think.. been a long time since i last saw them but i think it was a trace eliot cab one of them used..vague memory.

i've been running that selmer amp through a 4x10 bass cab, with a 1x15 bass combo as a 2nd channel... problem is, it's too big to fit in the car, so we couldn't take it with us when we played recently.

oh btw have you run the selmer through the 410 cab by itself ? i'm curious the differences from guitar top to guitar top.. how they interact with bass cabs.

yeah, but i have very limited experience of comparing separate heads / cabs, so can't really give you much help!

how'd you find the 4 10"s with the selmer ? compared to 12"s guitar speakers ?
i'm wondering because i don't have a guitar cab of my own to really compare thoroughly, always hasty when a friend brings his guitar gear.
i'd like a 212 guitar cab paired with the 410 to 'even it out' and have best of both.. but can't possibly do that because of space and money. i don't even know if i'd like that better because i haven't tried. i only have one decent working speaker cable too.. lol

yeah.. i can see for a more traditional sound 10"s do sound 'odd' ..maybe i just got used to it anything else sounds odd now.
i remember last year i posted here i was set on getting a 212 ppc and sell the ampeg 410..but i couldn't get my myself to do it..that cab has a history and due to lack of space i can't have both really..

oh &btw, i've heard oranger rockers seems to love greenbacks.. somehow. want to confirm. :p but the 410 stays.
