I will never understand sparkle finishes. I miss my mustangs.. I still think they're the best looking guitars... so well balanced such a great form..

so they say, and what they think justifies the price ... but the collector lawyers don't seem to care that much for Mustangs ... there's a shop in cologne that trys to sell non orig (don't know if factory refinish) finished Mustangs for nearly 3 k€. Those don't sell either.

It is original but it wasn't painted at the factory.According to "The Golden Age Of Fender" In the '60s Fender didn't have paint guns that could shoot sparkle paint with this large particles so they outsourced all sparkle paintjobs to another shop. Here is another Mustange with original sparkle paintjob.

I prefer the second sparkle bc it looks like a fishing lure. Something for largemouth bass.

You wouldn't catch anything with the first one :(

Being that I'm big into choppers, there is something about a fogged and flaked musicmaster that just looks hawwwwwwwwt.

I like the blue sparkle. Don't ask me why. They gold to red, though interesting, doesn't do it for me.

I guess it's all a matter of taste.
