Hello Music has it for $250, seems a pretty good deal. Plus I think there are some $25 off coupons for them floating around out there.

Borrow one to try out if you can. I have the older Kaoss pad 2 and apart from when I'm using my decks it only gets used to plug in my ipod. They are fun, but the kinda fun that doesn't last. Although because of that you can usually get them second hand in great condition for cheap. Mine was £40 a few years ago.

Thread reminded me to some time doubleside-stickytape one of these to my butt and wear a t-shirt that says "PUSE" for halloween.
