Wilson Effects makes a Colorsound clone. I have (different model) wilson wah which I've been real happy with.

I lit the touch paper and look what happens! Thanks for all the suggestions but as I said I was really after a cheaper option, the buddah and wilson are well over a hundred squid. This is, however, all food for thought. I shall see how much money I'm left with after I get paid this week and peruse the options. Keep 'em comin'!

I'm still waiting for someone to give a rational answer to this... anyone?
That's for a whole other thread my friend...

So the exact pedal I desire just turned up on ebay. Have emailed the person to see if they are willing to go for a 'Buy It Now' option as I don't have the snipe software gubbins and am generally shit at ebay. Any advice from all you (no doubt) regular ebay-ers?

Oh yeah and a link for said bidding item. Please don't bid better/steal it from me. This is a dream I tell you! A DREAM!

Work out the absolute most you're willing to pay for it. Add a fiver, then add 28p, then bid that amount. Forget all that sniping lark; deep pockets win it.

...but try to do it around the last 30 seconds if you can, just so you can avoid getting into a bidding war with some idiot. as long as you're in there around the last 30 seconds and you pay what you think it's worth and then like another 10%, you're fine. if anyone outbids you, they're the losers really because they paid too much. if they want it that much they can have it.

So the seller got back to me and wants £200 for it. Am I just being TOTALLY unreasonable here? I mean my brother and my friend who also has one from the same era paid not above £50. I realise that was 10 years ago but for a second hand pedal, that isn't vintage? 90s Crybabys go for 30 quid. Am I being a total clueless dick here? Anyway, two more 90s reissue Colorsounds have suddenly appeared on ebay (you wait for one Bus...) but they are also well over priced. I think I may have to consider this ship sailed and get one built. D'oh well.

I can tell you are all enthralled.

Well, the pedal market has changed quite a lot in the last ten years, and some things appreciate a crazy amount (I fancy a Snarling Dogs Mold Spore pedal - see how much those broke-ass pedals go for; people couldn't give away green muffs, and even the black russians are commanding m@j@ prices now). What he wants for it and what he'll get for it are two different things. A pedal is worth exactly how much you're willing to pay for it and no more. Decide how much you're willing to pay and bung a bid on. The fact that there are now three on eBay should keep the price down a touch. If you don't get it, have it cloned.

Obviously, that removes the option to play it half-cocked and I know a lot of people like being able to do that but it's an absolute blessing if you don't. ever. want to play on the half cocked cruise control.

As with most Morley pedals, the actual paddle is fairly wide, too. Not sure about warmth, though.

For your consideration.

Also, welcome aboard!
Best wah imo. I love the switching feature and the sound is excellent with gain.
