The bodies are tiny. I played one in guitar guitar in Glasgow a couple of weeks ago, I liked the neck and it sounded pretty good but the body looked comically small being played by someone with my build. However they do look cool in the right (if somewhat small) hands.

That yellow one looks fucking tits mcgee. Really nice.

I think if I had one of these, I'd add a neck mini humbucker. Dunno about the bridge, I'd probably leave it stock.

Like the one that's just been taken out but a neck version or do you mean something else, i'm open to ideas on what to do neck pickup wise.

My only concern with those is.... it's a lot of wood being removed next to the neck pocket, i dare say it would be fine but would i risk it,

Not much difference to what you'd have to route for a single coil I don't think.

I wouldn't worry about the amount of wood being taken out. It'll hold up fine, probably.

I dunno why I'd really want a neck mini-humbucker there. I think it would fit with way the guitar looks quite classy and nearly jazzy. Also, it'd be something that;s a bit different.

You lost me on this one, is that fit the mini or don't bother.

Do an surface mount neck pickup - it'll sound ace: linkerton - humbucker also available.

I'm saying that I would fit the mini. I don't think you have to worry about taking wood away, but I'm not a luthier, and if taking the wood out means that they guitar will catch fire and burn down your house, then I don't want to take the blame.

Just reading back on some of my own posts in this thread....I don't think i have explained very well.... The Angus Humbucker i have will stay, i love the Angus tone, i also love blues done on a Tele, so my plan was keep the Angus bucker and that's one sound/tone covered, i was then going to coil tap the bucker and use it along with the Tele neck pickup, this would then give me a Teleish tone for any blues playing, i know a Tele is aTele and trying to replicate the sound of one would be difficult, having said that something that would resemble the Tele tone will suffice, soooo the question is would my plan work.

I suppose it might not sound exactly like a tele, but it'll sound something like it and it would be cool looking (the most important thing).

Well, I played one of these today at a local shop - I was hooked within seconds!

Pay day isn't until the day after tomorrow, so I'll head back there then. I played a black one, and fancy the way they look, so that's what I'll be going for. I was pleased by the pickup and I really feel like this little guitar (and yes, I was surprised by just how tiny the body is) has potential. The neck was as comfy as an old pair of slippers; the guitar had great sustain, and a lovely tone. I still haven't heard Omar's music, but the guitar has impressed me hugely.

i Love this guitar!!!! have the left hander in white and its fantastic for the money. dont suppose anyone can tell me what resistance the vol pot is? im guessing 500k as the guitar has a humbucker? was thinking about fitting one of those n-tune tuning things to mine has anyone else tried one? thanks Adam
