Hi
I have been following this thread with great interest.
Your guitar has really turned out cool! 8)
I look forward to build one myself.

The Supersonic is a great guitar!
Since the Hypersonic plan not is too accurate, I wonder, is it possible for you (or anybody that owns a SS) to update the drawing?
As far as I know this is the only SS plan available, I think many guitar builders would be greatful..
I dont own a SS but maybe we all can cooperate to measure and update the drawing...

I'm not 100% happy with my cad drawings. I'll be more than happy to share one I'm happy with it. In pdf form for sure. I'd like to compare to the real thing too. I temporarily attached the unfinished neck for some shots for a friend. Anyway....

Ok, so you are working on a new CAD drawing?
I am very interested in both your drawing and a tracing.
Please let me know when you are ready to share it.

I have been trying to adjust the Hypersonic plan using pictures from internet.
But it's almost impossible get it accurate enough...

yes I am but would rather have tracings or more preferably. A real SS to go by. That's the only reason I'm not in a hurry to finish my cad drawings.

Okay, so I'm still not completely finished with the SS. But here are a few telejazz/telemasters I've recently been working on. My bursting skills aren't that great, it was my first.

those are pretty cool! I think a guitar like that would be cool with a jaguar control plate and the tele switch just in the pickguard above the plate.

I hope I'm not breaking any rules here, but now that I have a real s.s. I wanted to guage any interest in very detailed mdf templates. I would just post a pdf but my computer crashed a couple weeks ago and lost everything. Templates would include neck and neck plate, control plate, for those of you that can do a little metal work. Detailed measurements. Pg template, and anything else needed to make your own body and neck. It is also possible to get a reverse headstock mustang/ jag neck at warmoth for about $160, for anyone not comfortable building a neck. It will work I tried fitting one today. They would. Be reasonably priced of course. If interested post here. Or email me @ justindwight@gmail.com I'll figure a price up soon if I get enough interest. Thanks.

I am interested but I suppose shipping to Sweden will be expensive...
Would it be possible for you to post some of your detailed measurements?

That looks really good. You can tel it is off at the edges but no big deal. I think it is so funny how you made one then you just end up buying one.. haha.

Yeah its off ever so slightly in places, but I only had pictures. To go off of. My new templates are dead on. I'm in the process of moving , but once I do I'll have a real shop and plan on making a few more. Champagne sparkle, emerald sparkle, black sparkle and a few modified setups. Including a lefty version. As for buying one. I found a hell of a deal on my local Craigslist and just couldn't pass it up.

Haven't been around in a while. I recently saw that the SS will be released again under there pawn shop series. I'm currently building a fuchsia sparkle SS. I'll have pics up soon.
Anyway here are some builds I've finished and am working on currently. A 52 p bass and a gretsch Corvette. The Corvette is an original 60's body that was never finished. I finished the neck and set it. I have all the parts ready to go including an extreamly rare Burns tremolo.

Corvette pics soon. Uploading from my phone.

The RI Supersonic has a fatter neck. Play one of course but it's not the same as the original.

I didn't build this neck. I had Guy commission me for the build. He gave me a mim jazz neck to build around. The Guy was very pleased and so was I. I'll probably have to build one for myself soon.

Pens, I read the the specs. I'll wait to place my judgment until I play the RI. The price is pretty high too. I might pick one up when the price drops when guitar center has them on sale, or when and if they put them on clearance.
