I heard good things about the Distortion Pro (Stewart has one), hopefully it'll fill your criteria! eBay is pretty good for the moment, things are selling with very high prices so if yau have the cash it's a good place to pick things up cheap. My LM308N equipped Turbo Rat didn't sell last week but i'm glad as i've now decided to keep it.

Wanted to resurrect this thread.
I got a sd tweak fuzz on the cheap, under 50.
It was trash. Good tone but the volume drop was ridiculous when engaged. So I did the volume mod and now holy hell! It's got more volume than I could ever need. it swings all sorts of classic fuzz sounds and with the gain maxed on the last tweak setting its doomy as you could want. Great investment... Great pedal. After the re-tweak it holds it's own on a board already over saturated with dirt. I reall wanted a more classic fuzz to even out my dwarfcraft craziness, and after the mod this fits the bill great. I imagine alot of folks get rid of these for next to nothing because of the volume issue. If you see one cheap grab it, the volume fix is easy as pie and it's a great pedal after the fact.
