Yo Mike, finally fired up the box o' rock today. I'm a pretty crap guitar player and my daughter was yelling at me to turn it down; but works great and I was getting some cool tones with all the EQs at 12' oclock. I'll have to futz around with it some more when I've got time; and wait until the 17th of Jan. for it to get a real work through. Super stoked in any case!

I tested your brothers tweaked out Big Muff board today, it all works great and I've tweaked it to sound really fun I think. Hopefully it should be another hit.
i bet it will be. i'm just really impressed with you and aen. i mean, you make great boutique handmade to order pedals and they don't skimp on quality of build or sound.
customer service, quality, and price!
seriously though, great thing you guys are doing :D
Thanks to you both, it's down to you guys though in getting me to do this, if it hadn't been for the Booster run and Aen's idea in teh first place, I would never have built my first pedal.
Nice one Al, the EQ can be quite useful, it's only the Treble control that I think is a little bit too sensitive (and maxed out sounds baaaad), glad you've had a mess about with it.

Woa Mama....I got the pedal this evening Mike.
When I got it, I plugged it in right away (noticed it was cold but didn't pay any attention b/c I was so giddy) and nothing came out. So I thought I'd sit it down and let it warm up as it's cold as a mother fucker in Chicago.
20 mins later it was working perfectly. Guess it need time to thaw out.
I've only got this shit practice amp at home but I ran the vintage mustang through it and we're talking "Mega" tones bro..."Mega" tones.
I dialed in one creamy sound and just left it for the moment and will really put it through its paces at practice on Wed.
I dialed the fuzz a little over 3/4 and put the bias and contour at noon and dialed back from there, just pulling the bias lower a bit below the contour. Very classic vibe to it.
Many thanks to you Mike, mucho satisfied with it! Can't wait to let it breath at the space this week.
If I ever figure out how to sue the video function on my computer, I'll try and make a couple demos with it.

haha that'll be the Germanium transistors, they don't like extreme cold. Glad you have it all working properly.
I'm really chuffed it's there safe and that you like it, I really think it's a cool design.
Thanks again for buying it!

Haze, here is your case:
I should be able to build the circuit into it tomorrow I think.
Dots I drilled your case yesterday at work after this awesome guy in the lab let me use their drill press, so we're ahead of schedule. I primed it this morning and am painting it green this lunchtime.

Ford Signal Yellow baby!
I'm getting bored of Halfords though, they don't have enough Metallics. I wanted to get an Orange Metallic or Yellow metallic the other day and they had NOTHING.

Yeah, it's really got some classic fuzzy tones in there for sure. Through the single coils it sounds huge, but I haven't tried it with the Jag HH.
I appreciate you building it for me!
Couple pay checks down the road, believe I might need a Saltbooster for the pedal board.

Used the pedal tonight at practice (just about every tune) and fucking loved it. That mids bosting pot really helps to keep up with the band and cut through the mix. Really had fun playing some slide in open C with it.
Thanks again!

Wicked, I'm glad you're still digging it mate, mids are always a favourite when playing with others.

Haze your pedal is done!
Dots I should be able to apply decals and lacquer yours tomorrow morning, and built it into the case this weekend I hope.
I was going to call it the MODDED MUFF. Sound good?
