I don't have that much FX-wise. I use the Boss GT-6 for weirdo FX that I wouldn't buy a standalone 'drawer warmer' box for. The old DOD envelope filter is awesome. The Danelectro Fab tone is a much overlooked pedal, they're normally uber cheap too.

i was going to say that your setup is really simple, but the 6100 is such a versatile amp i can't really say that

haha.. indeed, it's three channels so I get most of my dirt from it. I only use the pedals for a light breakup sound and a boost.
wow. nice effing pedals. I have that DigiVerb (probably the least interesting pedal there but still...) it is magnificent. the spring reverb just douses shit with tons of verb. how's the yamaha flange?

Thank you Digiverb is nice overall pedal, cheap and very good sounding; Yamaha is (for me) best sounding cheap analog flanger - the possibilities are endless

Nice amp. Tell us about it, your thoughts on it rather.

Why thank you!
It's great. I run my amps loud and clean and do the rest with pedals (Still got some fuzz to come, I can't believe I don't have one at the minute!?). It's a very aggressive sounding amp, believe it or not. Very angry sounding. Very pretty too, though. Sparkly cleans and suchlikery. I love it.
Edit: Holy shit what a TERRIBLE description.
It's quite voxy, but without the muddy grunt sometimes associated. It's quite bright, but not icepick in ears bright. The bass response is nice, it's very much a true uncolouring amp.
Edit: Okay that was terrible too.

You can tell it's nice but it depresses the crap out of me that on the official video they don't have the nouce to do a proper micing job and avoid digital clipping

True that. I wouldn't use that video as any kind of example. It sounds pretty vile.

Although I don't really use any of those pedals though anymore. I still have my twin but I'm probably going to craigslist it in the spring.

Re-did my board last night - have been using the Rockerverb recently (god I love that amp) and so without the JVM footswitch I can cram on some more pedals! So much for considering a more simplified set up...
