The straight up power chord and the bucker go hand in hand though

And I do think that when the tone is rolled back, they give almost the only option for jazz in the neck position.
...Other people can make humbuckers sound good, but when I play more intricate chords and etc. the nuances just seem to get lost in 'bucker distortion, though that's not really 'bucker specific, it just so happens that by nature humbuckers tend to have that higher output...
What kinda bugs me (and is alleviated by the Widerange) is that no magnet pull=less twang, and that flat sustaining character is great for teh butt rock, but not for me. I have the same issue with Lace Sensors...
In recordings I can get over the previous issues usually, but what REALLY bugs me is the honky characteristic they often display in clean settings... I detested clean humbuckers in music before I even knew what to hate.
