True, I wanted some big tort picture for something a couple of months back, but it's either a huge picture of a strat pg fulla holes or a horrible texture someone's made in photoshop using filters.

Also I'll get some some decent pictures of zebra HBs, the Gun Mental HB on my artcore and the HB sized p90. Maybe the strat pups too, want as many options as we can.

Oh, and the black hotrails I've got.

Ok it's not bang on on the lower horn or the control plate, but it's pretty close.

I'm gonna do a random selection on knobs from pics of me pedals. I don't know what we have but I'll just do what I've got.

There needs to be a 70's CBS neck pocket option, too.

Random selection of knobs, should be sized about right:

Edit: Made 'em a bit darker, they look better.

woah, all this stuff is awesome.

I'm gonna add a shading layer to the body to make it look more 3D/real tonight.

Like the pickguard things, can anyone do them for the body in sunburts and natural? They need to be the whole body with no pickguard/routing so that when a different pickguard shape is selected there are no holes in the body showing. Im not that good on photoshop...

Looks good though, amazing actually.

I think if the neck is made so you can drag and drop it we could do that. That way you could pick if theres a bit of wood sticking out on the lower horn side, or a huge gap on the upper horn.

There is a huge amount of working in just getting a decent Mustang version, then when we expand to Jaguars etc it will be more work again. I think it will be a 6 month project to get a decent Fender version, without thinking about anything else.

Bear in mind everyone is just doing this in their spare time.

Can somebody with more knowledge on the subject than me make a list of the decal types we need?

I know there's this the gold with black outline fender, and black with gold outline fender (both with the black mustang). Any others for mustang? I just saw this..

I like the idea of being able to just put 'Fender' on there, so it might be a good idea to have the 'fender' and the model name seperate and you can mix and match in the software.

I sort of like it. It works well against the metallic gold.

FAO: People who want to help but aren't into this sort of photoshop editing. You can definitely help in the following ways

- Saying which images you think could be done better of the images already done (I'm happy to re-do things or have other people have a go)
- Ideas for what should be included (black pearl pickguards and amber switch tips have been vetoed) as part of that, making a list that can be ticked off of things to include would be helpful. For example it would be good if someone made a list of the types of knob or decal we should include, then we have something concrete to aim for.
- Ideas for GUI (this is DanHeron's area so I'm treading on his toes slightly, but there's no harm in making suggestions and he can always carry on with his plan if he wishes)
- Finding detailed straight on images. The more detail the better. Even though it will be edited down to a smaller size, it makes editing much easier.

Sunburst body

It's by no means perfect, but it's a right bastard to edit.
