It is. 1981 and has black plastic hardware, so I guess it's international series.

I don't think that's the original finish but it could be.
faded cathay ebony?
Possibly. But from what I've read about Cathay Ebony it's pretty much just black. It would certainly be more interesting if it was like Noirie's strat. This is the only Cathay Ebony picture I've seen.

I just found that the 'Starcaster' (not the vintage model, the beginners strat package which is licensed by Fender) comes in Black Sparkle. This could count as a fender finish? Maybeh. heres a pic:

Here's a sneaky peaky at what this is going to look like. It's taking quite a lot of shuffling around to sort out but here are the first few of the blue menu.

Ugh.

This re-work is taking ages. It's not difficult, just tedious. I've got through the two digit colours and I'm about to try and get through the bulk of the three digit ones. It doesn't even take that long but it's so mind-numbingly boring that it's hard to commit to doing a lot at once. I should have it back in full swing by the end of this week though.

Once I get through that stuff, I'll work on putting in these latest pictures like Lipstick Red, and then it's back on the hunt for more. I'm also going to finally tackle that preloader now I know how to do it.

Two big bits of news.

- All of the mage files have been moved to a new style which means I can have the sub-menus mentioned before. All that's left to do is populate some of the menus with the colours for each.

- I built a motherfucking preloader. No loading bar but it has a % to tell you how far it's got. If people want a loading bar I can add one in easy enough.

I'm going to finish some of these colour lists and then get the latest version uploaded so people can see what's going on and bask at how awesome it is to have a preloader rather than a blank white screen. Then it's back to adding more colours.

I haven't done the lists for 'white' 'yellow' or 'transparent' yet but I've had enough of it for today. I've set up a temporary website to host the updates at and test the preloader. It turned out to be a good idea because the preloader had an error that only comes to light when not running from your local machine.

So I could do with people testing this out. See if the preloader does what it should do and if the colors are what they say they are. I made a few mistakes moving stuff around but I've corrected what I've noticed.

On the case. Cheers for checking it out.

DanHeron - you rock. I've just been through the past few pages of this thread and along with some other images I had ready I'm going to be putting at least 22 new colours in on the next update.

Updated with lots of new images. The only error I can see in the current version is that Black Sparkle loads the Fiesta Red image.

There are quite a few images that need to be made to appear in a better location and a more 'preview window' fitting size, but other than that it's looking good.

found a picture of a custom red burst on a coronado. not sure if this could be classed under the one they used on some japanese HH jags. also, don't have a clue what the number would be.
