The song really is brilliant, I have listened many times. I didn't like the change at first but with after further listenings I really like it.
I wish I could make such cool synth sounds with my MicroKorg. As everyone knows the presets suck, I'm just not very good at making my own sounds either.

Whoops, forgot to come back to this thread!
Cheers duuuudes; yup, all synths by the MicroKorg, the irritating melody parts in the chorus being two voices in unison. Maybe I could subtly introduce some synth into the outro section for sake of transition?
Freddy: keep at it, son- I always found it easier to start with a preset that's at least in the same kinda ballpark and go from there. Knowing how envelopes work certainly helps when trying to nail sounds, so maybe it's just a case of getting more familiar with the terminology?

I think basically it's just not for me. My drummer has a crappy old Yamaha keyboard and I much prefer the sounds from that, so I think I'm gonna replace the MicroKorg as soon as I find something similar for myself (I don't use keyboards/synths anywhere near often enough to justify having two).

The finish line is in sight! Admittedly, I just shortened the distance I had left to run myself, but it'll do!
