I got this when I was 10. I'd just started guitar lessons and one day my Dad brought this home. I think it was from Argos and it cost about £20. I sold it a few months ago for £10.

Tanglewood Rebel 4k Bass
When I was 11 I started my first band with some friends, and we decided I would be the bas player seen as the other two guitarists already had electric guitars. So I went out and bought this with my birthday money. I don't think we actually ever had any practices after I'd bought it. At all the ones we did have I just sat on a chair in the corner playing the basslines on a classical guitar.

About a year and a half after that I decided that bass wasn't my thing and I'd rather be a guitarist. I was obsessed with the Toy Dolls at the time so I wanted to play a Telecaster like Olga from that band. My parents bought me a Marshall MG10CD to go with it. <3 gain on full.

I remember going to Leeds with my Dad to buy this, being told they had one at the branch at the opposite side of Leeds, and it turning out they only had the black one. They ordered a sunburst one for me though, so all was right with the world.

My girlfriend only ever plays acoustic so I got given this for free. It has a Floyd Rose on it and I got very confused trying to restring (Katie couldn't help because she'd never restrung it), so much so that I somehow managed to take the whole bridge apart and now there's no bridge on the guitar. I'm trying to think of something to put on instead...
