Did you need me to switch to another color? It's not even that I like blues or anything, I just wanted to try something a bit thicker (i usually use fender mediums). If it makes the order easier I can definitely switch!

So we're looking at filling the yellow and blue quotas to get 200 of each (if hotrod takes 50 yellow then we're pretty close). I know Mike is ok with 25 extra, and ends too. I'll take 25 extra of either blue or yellow, maybe even 25 of each. If we get those through we're looking at the slightly cheaper per pick 1,600 prices and just have the artwork to settle.

No problem. I've been 'feeling the shortscale' lately. It's quite nice being involved in things like this and the color chart.

We'll wait til somebody claims a few more blues and yellows then allocate any spares between us two and Mike. From there we'll check everybody is cool with paying the price there order works out at and we'll be ready to go. Getting the artwork sorted is probably a good next move. It'll make it easier for people to decide to increase an order or to come in fresh and the sooner we do that the better.

James and I are working out total costs with shipping... rather james is working it out and sending me numbers and I'm replying with, "yep, looks right."

I think they'd be in my hands sometime mid-October. therefore in your guys hands in late october.

The site says 3-4 weeks from the time they receive the order, artwork and payment. In an email they said 4 weeks. So I guess 4 is their slightly high estimate in that way that companies tell you slightly longer than it will usually take so you don't get pissed off. Something like 3-4, then a couple of days for ends to sort the orders and however long domestic US postage takes on that. So from payment it might be 5-6 weeks.

It's looking like Gavin's designs are going to be used and they all feature text on the back so I'm going to draw up the pricelist for double sided print, one side image one side text. I have to go back through and check who lives in Canada and that sort of thing (slightly higher shipping charges) but it'll definitely be done today.

I think we'll be able to place the order with Dunlop in the first half of next week. (Gives us the weekend to decide for certain on the artwork, enough time for me to get the order prices sorted and check they add up correctly, and 3-4 days for people to get the money to ends).
