MSRP of $499 translates to... $250-300 street

OMFG. I'm getting all three before xmas.

$499 MSRP should be $299 street

This pricing matches that of the current VM line perfectly

However, does not match earlier "Fender" info spread on TDPRI

I think this info is correct though, given the detail

Or is it some sort of tariff thing?
a bit of both I think. you can't just transfer prices over to another economy and think that they should be the same. GBPs are a highly valued currency. when the value of a currency goes up, although within that economy you won't see much of a change, everything goes up in relation to the world economy; wages and the price of goods and services. eventually you would think they would see some savings in goods on the world market but I don't think it ends up working that way for most ordinary people. but if they leave the UK everything is going to be cheap.
This all makes sense to me. Thanks for shedding some light on the subject!

Hoping now our UK friends will be able to enjoy these guitars for 255 GBP.

Get the Mustang first month, Jazzy second month, Jag third month.

Gotta buy a new guitar rack.

Perversely. But you can believe that I am keeping an eye on the US Virgin Islands classifieds and craigslist ads for the foreseeable future. She'll turn up again, I'll drop $70 on a plane ticket, and she'll be mine.

This guestimate was based on online pricing for the current VM line ... MSRP for both lines is the same, supposedly.

But given the excitement surrounding the new line, I understand your pessimism.

Lefties are out of luck for the time being; reportedly.

Pictures show rosewood? Probably a mistake in the specs?

These better come to Europe so I can get my grubby mits on a sonic blue Jazzy.

No.

Jaguars were always the slightly ugly, nerdy but brighter cousins of the main Fender guitars. It makes perfect sense to me that Squier should offer some accurate, fully-featured versions and I'm not the only person to have said this (for years, and years, and years....)
