kinda like that custom overdrive that zakk wylde uses, hard wired with all the controls at ten, no pots.

My most recent purchase. 1983 Greco LP Custom. Jump by Van Halen hadn't even been recorded yet when this fine machine was crafted.
It weighs roughly one and a half planets.
It's strung with .13s and tuned to C.
I like it.

Niiiiiice! We could be brothers or something.

Mine has Scream'in 82 PUs in it. The neck one sounds beautiful both clean and distorted, but the treble one sounds way too bright clean. Distorted though, it's a real monster.

Does yours have fret edge binding? I've got it on mine, but I think that it's because the neck was a leftover from the factory switch in '82.

Get the FUCK off this forum.

Les Paul? Seriously - I hope you catch a really bastard cold.

Fret edge binding; reminds me of my time spent on the Tokai Forum. Lovely Greco, one of the few occasions where gold hardware is OK. Please buy and send me obscure Japanese guitars - in return, I'll send you those nasty Maverick metal guitars made near me.

Which version of the Juno is that?

it's a juno 6. juno 60s have the words 'programmable polyphonic synthesiser' on the front, the 106s have plastic side panels.

Whaaaat? They're short scale. Ish.
When I was a lad your age, I though Les Pauls were for guys who look a bit like Steven Seagal and love to solo. I was right; they are. Happily, they're also good for bringing huge, withering slabs of "the rock".
I wanted a guitar for downtuning and playing walls of feedback and sludge with. This fits the bill far better than any offset body/short scale guitar that I can think of.

Oh, it cost roughly eighty-five quid (17,800 yen).

So there.

I have actually caught a cold, you prescient bastard.

Fuck that. My Mustang brings the noise more than any guitar I have. Actually the Widerange humbucker in the Tele Custom might do it a bit more.

I've been looking at getting one of these. How the hell did you get it so cheap?
