Here are mine - A DuoSonic reissue and a Mustang pieced together from parts of various years
The DuoSonic has a new pickguard (I got it cheap because someone had clumsily hacked up the original one putting in a humbucker), new pickups (a couple of GFS single coil sized humbuckers) and I re-orientated the pickup switch so it works up/down rather than sideways.
The Mustang has a 70's body which had at least two very badly done re-finishes (eventually I will try to give it a better one), the neck from the current model Blacktop Jaguar, pickguard and pickups of unknown age and manufacturer, new Fender trem and bridge, new pots and a new control plate.
Yeah, I know neither of 'em is much to look at, but they both play well and sound good, and that's what's really important to me.

My parts mustang looks just like that except it will has Sunburst on the back and black on the front. Might go pearl pickguard.
Yours looks great.

Thanks, I was thinking they didn't really compare to some of the truly beautiful guitars in this thread.
The DuoSonic actually does look pretty good cosmetically - when I got it I had planned on fixing it up and then selling it because I thought I wouldn't like the truly short (22 3/4) scale of it. But then I played it and I really like it. It's definately a keeper.
The Mustang looks a lot worse in person though. You can see in the pic several dings along the left side - what doesn't show is that the whole left side of the front is full of them. And they are not the normal sort of "little chip in the paint" dings either. They are quite deep. almost as if someone had shot the guitar with a shotgun.... Then, someone had painted it with a brush apparently without removing the hardware - where the pickguard and hardware go the paint is much lower. Finally someone had sprayed over all that without sanding it much, only enough to leave visible sanding scratches. I can't complain though, I got it cheap, but a refinish is definately in it's future.

I love the inca Silver. So hott. I just checked and Reranch sells that color. Definitely going to use it on an upcoming guitar project.

Yep, I used the ReRanch Inca Silver for the project. For some reason that color looks better on an offset than on any other guitar. It looks great on a Tele, ok on a Strat, but somehow just looks "right" on a Jag or Jazzmaster.

I picked this up cheap the other week. Has a wee chip on the point bit fo the headstock, not that noticible but you can see it in this pic. The bridge pup s a SD Lil '59 single sized bucker.
