Early 70's Conrad 40080 into a Blackstar HT-5. I hope to add a Classic Vibe 50's Tele, Classic Vibe Duo Sonic, and few EHX stompboxes in the next couple of months.
Sure. There's a few things wrong with it that have been there since I got it from my grandpa 10 or so years go.
I'm loving the HT-5. It would be nice if they had Reverb, but it's not a big issue. I've been wanting to run it through different cabinets as I've got the HT-110.
It's actually in really good shape for a guitar that's close to 40 years old. The bridge pickup is inactive and the tone pot for it fell into the body. Other than that, it's a solid guitar.
Yeah I think they're just singles...
They're totally hollow. With all the hardware out the top seems pretty fragile.
I'm keeping the pickups in, I love them.
as far as I can tell, that pickup is the way the bass came. It has a clear plastic mounting thing, and the cavity is routed to the pickup shape. That being said, the pickup sounds awesome. Sounds just like a typical p-bass. The neck is incredible on the bass too. Just the right amount of THICK. Also, check out the tiny, tiny machine heads.
