It feels good! A nearly natural finish neck makes it feel really nice. The quality is great. Good paintjob, no sharp frets, nothing to get worry. The sound is a shortscale precision sound - therefore a *real* mustang bass sound  --- although i never played a fender mustang bass, but i would think, it MUST sound so - the mapleneck gives some more midtones, i think.
I love it playing with distortion - it sounds so much greater compared to a distorted jazzbass. I will do a video as soon i have some time for...

For 315€ you can't do anything wrong!!! Finish, playability and quality is as good as my cv jazzbass or cv duosonic. (so far i can say this after owning it a week)

New guitar days are awesome :

65 reissue Mustang is so far rather lovely. First STANG and it's proving to be excellent.

Don't be shy Pat, you've got THE Jags.

I guess the Amena qualifies for this thread too!

Are you putting a Jaguar guard on the Cyclone? What scale will it be in the end?

yes but the squier jaguar guard instead of this one

the scale in the end is 24" but using a jagmaster conversion neck...
that is why i filled the trem cavity and opted for a surface mount bridge..

i'm actually in the process of finishing this up this week, and getting it wired up as well..

so.. stay tuned to the project thread about it..

My Classic Series '65 Mustang, just got it this week (used)

Image

Replaced the tortoiseshell pickguard with a white one, and swapped the black control knobs for cream ones. Just need to get the bloody thing set-up now.
