I only have one guitar now, the Blacktop Jazzmaster. I just had the stock humbucker replaced with a Gretsch Filtertron. Loving it.

It amazes me where you find cool stickers like that? In the UK its a choice of; Metallica, Sex Pistols or I <3 Skegness.

^ wow. I bet that sounds cool. best of both worlds there. bridge is all jangle times, neck is all fat harmonic rich crunch.

EDIT: damnit fran you blocked my pointy arrow. I was talking about the BT jazz.

I've been playing it some more tonight (got it back this afternoon) and what a difference changing a pickup makes. I rarely ever used the DD humbucker (even with dirt) because it had a nasal, middy tone, so I only used the neck pickup. Now, I have three usable settings, a versatile guitar, and that elusive jangle on the bridge that I've wanted for a long time.

If anyone could recommend guitar stores in Scotland for a friend of mine on holidays that would be awesome! He's relying on eBay to find a guitar and it'd be cool if some of you could give me some decent places to check out so I can forward the info to him. He's bought an acoustic off eBay already... personally I think he's a very brave man from the stories I've heard about shipping acoustics

Anyway that's all my gear (to the right of me) for now. I still have a bit more and I still really want the Bass VI but the Jazzmaster is slowly growing on me with this setup. Also may I say the absolute best guitar I've played recently was a Sherwood Green Squier Telecaster that totally reminded me of Robroe and I think that'll be my next likely purchase after a few sales of personal junk.

The acoustic got some love tonight. 70's Yamaki folk (Martin clone, sounds brilliant)

not a massive update, but i'd thought i'd stick it up here

the JR will be used for songs that need a bit more rawk or alternate tuning.
still want to cull the les paul clone from the herd. leaving the strat as it is for my john mayer tonez

the baja, well that's my number one.

Donk's acoustic looks rad.

It's nice outside today so here are a couple pics of my Maverick. These are the first shots I've taken of the Sunburst body in natural light.

here's the latest addition to my collection, there's a rather large chip out of the finish on the edge which will be getting sorted with a little help form halfords trusty touch up paint...

DO want the last two guitars posted.

How are the Squier P-90s?

The Maverick is so mysterious to me. what does it sound like?
