that pedal board had such false promise.
you've got the huge sign, WHERE ARE THE PEDALS? it looks alot like mine actually, blue carpet'd.
The reason it is so giant is so we can keep adding on as planned. Building a smaller one would of just made it so when i did get more pedals we would have to keep building bigger boards. Build it big first, then add pedals. so thats why it looks naked right now.

Are those Hardwire pedals any good? Haven't tried them out yet.

as far as quality goes, they're superb. true bypass, they come w/ custom velcroe for pedal boards, glow in the dark sticker for dark stages, super bright led, and a stomp lock so you don't stomp away your settings
as far as sound, it's whatever floats your boat, but the rv-7 is amazing to my ears

Bit of a switcharoo
Back on an actual board.
The tuner and the overdrive being at the top doesnt bother me as the overdrive is always on and the tuner gets used infrequently.
So in my head I actually only have a 4 pedal, board haha I doubt I would need the overdrive if I was playing loud as it is just there to push the amp and add a little grit. and playing loud in a band situation may not be that far away actually..hence putting shit on a board for ease of transport.
SHiva and ufo cover both ends of fuzz/dirt and the echo machine is on there because size to sounds ratio, it packs a punch. and the xp1000 has all the weird off kilter sounds any noisy boy or gal could want.

Ufo kept for now.
I sold the spacestation when I got the xp1000 because it does spacestation and more.
Nothing to tell yet, Just being more proactive in getting a band together. but seriously nothing to tell as of yet.

I bought a black marker pen and a white paint marker and did this...
It's a bit messy where the paint marker was a bit awkward to use (see white blob on the top and the bit just past the Y in factory is a bit dodgy) but overall I like it a lot. I really should bother to install that LED though.

Just added the boss HM-2 to my guitar mangling arsenal, has anyone else had the joy of annoying the neighbours with one of these and a telecaster (instant Queens of the Stone Age or My bloody valentine depending on your mood). Nothing makes me smile like a new distortion/fuzz pedal.

I had everything torn apart to work on a new board and layout, so I figured I'd take some photos.
First row, L-R: Boss RE-20 Space Echo, TU-2, SD-1, GE-7, DS-1, PH-3, BF-3
Second row, L-R: EHX Big Muff Pi USA (reissue), EHX Small Clone (reissue), EHX XO Micro Synth, EHX XO Stereo Pulsar, EHX Black Finger
Third row, L-R: Original SansAmp, SansAmp GT2, Marshall Shred Master, Marshall Drive Master, Ibanez FZ7, Danelectro Fab Echo (w/self-oscillation mod)
Fourth row, L-R: Dunlop Original CryBaby, homebrew Super-Fuzz, homebrew effects loop switch, DOD FX75-B Stereo Flanger, DOD FX55-B Supra Distortion, DOD FX60 Stereo Chorus, Pro Co Rat 2 (USA)
A bit of this stuff was purchased used or at music store closeout sales. I don't ever use the PH-3 and BF-3, but they were $40 each brand new at a closeout so I figured I'd sell them someday. I just bought the Micro Synth and Pulsar at Guitar Center's President's Day sale, and both seem pretty great. The MS was 10% off and the Pulsar was only $50, which is much cheaper than the kit I was going to build -- otherwise I'd say both are overpriced.
Top, middle, bottom: Vox Pathfinder 10, '04 Fender Blues Junior, '73 Fender Vibrosonic Reverb
The Vibrosonic is my main amp, and it's fantastic; it's essentially a Twin Reverb with a 15" instead of 2x12". (The BJr looks to be as tall as the Vibrosonic here, but it's just weird perspective distortion.) Between being 100 watts and having a 15" speaker, there's really no breakup without killing the fellow down the block. It sounds nothing like a Twin to me -- it seems much more "round" and "warm", to use completely useless and nonsensical adjectives.
The Blues Junior has a decent dirty sound, and it cuts through no problem un-mic'd at rehearsal volumes when I don't feel like lugging the eightyish pounds of speaker and output transformer in the Vibrosonic.
The Vox is just a solid state guy with a 6" speaker, pretty much only used to dick around. It works well sitting on top of the Vibrosonic as a kind of tweeter, but doesn't really cut through at gig volume.
Most of my stuff is pretty boring by SS standards, but I suppose that's why I'm new here.
[edit: moved the guitar portion of this to the proper spot in the "pictures of your guitars here" thread in All Other Guitars.]
