no need, the black jag neck is a 7.25 radius
the reason i hunted down the neck for the white one is that me and 9.5 don't get along...
though if i find one for the right price again i'll be swapping the neck on the squier to a 7.25

My '72 Musicmaster.

I love this bass so much. However, I'm really protective of it and have been having reservations about gigging with it lately. I'm starting to worry constantly lugging it around town is taking its toll on the body/headstock since I'm kinda clumsy with it at times. I love the tone, though, and I really can't afford another MM right now...

Bad idea to gig with a vintage instrument? Or not?

imo it's better to play it out and throw it around a bit then to keep it stashed away at home.

Ooh, nice. Welcome!
If you have a decent hard case/gig bag and adequate insurance, why not? OTOH, I have a '73 Strat that I don't use for gigging any more; it's in pretty fair condition and I'm kinda clumsy sometimes too; in a small playing space you end up with cuts from cymbals on the headstock and stuff. I bought a new Strat in '08 so I wouldn't have to worry but it's such a nice guitar I don't want to damage that either....

I have small hands too and find the short-scale A profile neck on the Swinger comfy but also cramped.

My only worry regarding this is over potential theft.
A little bit of fear goes a long way in seeing that the best possible measures are being taken to prevent that, though.

I did this from scratch in SolidWorks CAD.
I then used a 3D Dimension printer to make it.
I need to go back and make a few changes, but it's almost there!

Did you happen to document the printing process, by any chance?

The pickguard sir.
I am going to have to print these without the holes and then drill them.

I've never took the 64 Jag out yet, in three years
Good on you all that do gig true vintage guitars though.
