nice demo video as always. my highlites:

your abundant and gleeful use of the word "fuck"

and want to know what's weird? jason (dots) and I always called his toronado a "toro-nah-do." almost brit-englishing up the word. then you called it a "toro-nay-do" bridge. i just laughed because you thin it'd be the other way around.

either way that guitar sounds tits mcgee dude.

Britain is divided by people who prounce A as "ah" and A as "arr", but I'm pretty sure the word Toronado is always "ah" no matter where you're from. Like potato.

Finished with the video, it's pretty fantastic for sure. I've never been a fan of the colour, but it's been well executed clearly, that is a nice piece of wood. Very impressed with that sustain, and it's a generally real nice sound, so A* for that. Have you tried putting some random washers on the shaft of those pots underneath the pickguard, or is there not enough room in the route? I had a similar problem with the Malikaster, I just jammed some spaces under the pickguard so less was sticking out, and it did the job. Worked out better that way actually because I had mongrel pots that needed their heights arranging individually.

I know! I had to put up an extra guitar hanger and everything, craziness. it's weird, I've been loving Jaguars recently but I can't justify four guitars and an acoustic.

Indeed I do mate. I have a Fender decal for it - I put one one and it looked good but nudged it when drilling teh string tree I'd forgotten so removed it. I'll put it on when I can be arsed.

Yeah I could make them sit lower under the plate using teh nut that's under there but they're still insane, I'll put some Alpha's on it shortly.

I guess its too late for me to be finishing mine. I will come next year. Promise.

Yeah it's a Gibson switch (OH NOES) so it's sort of off cream. Needs a white tip.

I have CTS on my Mustang and the same problem (as well as some others). Next time I order pedal parts I'm adding a couple of pots (fuck buying pots from guitar shops) and sorting it out. So far my experience is that CTS are bad news and Alpha are deserving of the accolades.

I dunno what make they are or anything, but I've noticed that some pots have vastly more resistance when it comes to actually rotating the things. I have some really nice pots that are super loose, so it's a breeze going from 10 to 1 as a quick way of cutting the sound, but some I have are the total opposite and you can't spin them in one go. I should probably check out which is which, because I certainly don't want to make the mistake of getting some stiffies again.
