That was the 50's add text and image. It was for coffee. Who said spanking was abuse? 
In my house, my wife does all the beatings.
In all seriousness, these were made to mock the 50's ads and point out how bad many of them were. It was supposed to be dark humor, not be some statement against women or advocating abuse. It was supposed to be a joke about a woman getting a spaking for using a Gibson....
