inspiring photo Hurb, makes me want to shoot my guitars in a similar way.
Thanks. I have no finishing skills, so it's a funny story. 1 coat of rub-on cherry stain. Didn't like it, so I sprayed avocado green. HATED that, so I quickly thinned off the green. Finished with two coats of lacquer. Totally novice, but it looks good and feels nice and smooth.markarkark wrote:Gomer wrote:Partmaster

yeah, this is a beauty. what did you finish the body with?
I actually love it, a lot. I got it mainly because I got really disenchanted with noisy true bypass vintage-style pedals (click! click!) and wanted something buffered.othomas2 wrote:Nice !!! How do you find that Route 66 ? Always fancied one of them, & a cat.
Thanks! I've had Jaguar love (lust?) for many years now. I had been following the development of the Johnny Marr for a while and its release finally pushed me over the edge.taylornutt wrote:If that's your first shortscale, you have excellent taste. Welcome aboard.
That is a nice cat. Is it a designer breed? It looks like a toyger or a bengal/savannah cat lol.othomas2 wrote:Nice !!! How do you find that Route 66 ? Always fancied one of them, & a cat.
