I do intend on keeping it as is.. I may paint match the pup covers with the comp stripes..
but i have another set of white/ off white covers if it looks too shitty
I did want a pearl guard, but I had the black one kicking about (i got it from James in like 2007/8?) and it's been off and on this guitar for years. Really dig how the black looks. and until i've got a spare $40ish bucks kicking about, I have ZERO need to swap it.

Not sure, each guitar he's done has been different I believe, and more so does it for the fun of it then to make cash. so you'll have to ask RVB..

Be patient. When I do my Swinger build (someday...), it will almost certainly be comp orange/tort. The black guard does look pretty sweet, though.

Couldn't resist to put the fullsize JB in it again (still love the sound more then with a JBjr)
so cut the guard and the deal was done...

Bought & sold quite a few guitars over the last couple of months but I reckon I've settled on these four:

That is a gorgeous sight, especially your affection for white on white guitars. Fantastic.

@othomas2
Very cool with the blackguard...
Though I'd love to see how it looks with a mint on it

The Bic inks I used to stain these guitars is quite reflective. The guitars look very different depending on the lighting. My favorite is the orange one "gar-field". The blue-green pick-guard almost glows in the dark. I mixed the color myself.
