Not pretty enough? Those are actual mathematical landmarks that have led us to where we are today. Do it accurate or don't do it at all.

It is a Hotcake Bluesberry version with a footswitchable "channel" switch, which switches between whatever you have the Drive knob set to and max gain (with a cool green->red dual colour LED), so you basically have 3 channels.
Clean - pedal off
Green - pedal on and Drive set below Max
Red - pedal on and Channel switch On - Max gain
And it also has a Boost section which is independent of the Hotcake section of the pedal (can be used with or without the Overdrive/Distortion), which is the Boost Side of the Box Of Rock (a less glassy version of the Super Hard On MOSFET boost).

It's genius! I think so atleast. It's quickly become my favourite pedal as well. The Boost section is super useful, and it is more of a "clean" boost compared to my MBM box of rock's boost which adds some thickness to it. It's also SUPER FUCKING LOUD yet very tamable. I highly suggest it if you are looking for an excellent overdrive loaded with features and a step away from pure rock power.

I've marked up the case same as the original. knobs in a triangle shape, jacks on the side near the top of the pedal, DC on the top.
Fucking ace!
You should totally demo it when you have finished it.
Freakin' sweet, Mike.
Any chance you're still up for doing a demo on this Crunch Box... and maybe the Box of Cake?

Box Of Cake is in Oklahoma with it's owner/designer Haze.
The Crunch Box is still on for demo. I'm drilling the case tonight, will probably get it built over the long weekend and demoed then. This week is a busy one for me.

Ach, that's all bound up in counter integration and complex analysis. I could explain it to you, but it'd bore ye. Just be happy that it rocks.

OK well I've spent the day wth the MBM Fender Blender clone. I thought I'd do a quick write up review for anyone who might be interested.
First things first. When I took it out of the packaging (it was very well packed) I was taken by surprise by how small it is. I do have pics of the other one Mike made but I didn't realise that it was the tiny Mustang knobs that were on it so I thought it was a bigger case. This is a big bonus over the original, which is pretty hefty.
On to the actual tonez. As soon as I plugged it in I was a happy man. It's like 3 pedals in one. A very usable tone on the standard setting that is really good for chords and single note work (something i don't think works as well on some fuzz pedals). When you add the boost stage it sounds completely different, this is the sound I associate in my head with the fender blender. Nuch more toppy and a bit fizzier. The last sound is basically exclusive to Jaguar owners, yup once again the strangle switch proves to be a friend of the fuzz. Playing with the guitar on this setting you can hear more of the ring modulation-type of sounds. It's quite fizzy in a good way.
The range on it is immense, there's no chance of this pedal falling into the one trick pont category. There's so much variety when playing off the gain vs tone. You really have to go in baby steps to get the most out of a pedal like this, one notch difference in the tone pot and you have something very different. For example on the tone pot there's a sweet spot between 3 and 4 o'clock where the ring sound just starts to really become pronounced esp when holding back on the gain. It'd be easy to miss if you didn't put the time in (reminds me of the micro synth in that respect) It's like a bloody fuzz multi FX! It still has the melting faces capability but soo much more.
Thanks again Mike I am seriously blown away with this beast and I couldn't be happier. The pedal has completely eclipsed my expectations. If any of you have ever been tempted by the Fender Blender but found it a bit too nuts, this could be exactly what you're looking for. It's def taken my #1 Fuzz spot, which impresses the hell out of me cos before the FF I hadn't found a single one I really liked! Now I have 2 and they're both keepers.
I should have some sound samples ready by the weekend. I don't have a video camera but I might try to take some settings photos, slap the sound onto it and edit them into a video.

is the metallic black a bit matte like the metallic blue?
if so, when i order another pedal it's totally gonna have to be in that colour, i love matte black to a suspicious degree.

The Matteness depends on the amount of clearcoat I put on I imagine. I'll get some pictures of the metallic black when it's done to show you want it looks like.
