They look like a great option, good blow by blow accounts of the process here.

http://www.at-the-creamery.co.uk/blog/h ... r-upgrade/

Why anyone would pay Telenators prices when excellent alternatives by reputable builders exist elsewhere is beyond me. Maybe that's why he's having to send his stuff out to Vintage Guitar to be reviewed to drum up business.

I have 2 pairs of Creamery pickups, I can highly recommend them - especially my Jazzmaster pickups.

J& how do the Creamery pups compare to the Ant II's I bought from you?

I have an offset project nearing completion & would like to get a set of Jap JM pups rewound to something more useful, I know the Creamery can rewind for about £30

I had Jaime make me a pair that were warmer sounding than stock, they're also slightly hotter, they remove so of the highs and sound a smoother. He liked the ones he made for me so much that he now has them as part of his range, I think they are the extra width JM pickups. If you tell Jaime what you're after he can make a pickup to suit. However aren't the japanese JM pickups alot thicker than vintage spec ones? I don't know much about these things but isn't that likely to make them sound different if re-wound?

I'm not sure how they Jap pup parts differ, or what affect they have on the sound, but I would want them to sound a bit different to the ANT II's in my Jazzmaster. Although, I would still like them to be of similar output.

All that magazine review has done is make me think that these are so shite they have to make shit up about them in order to justify the $450 price. Fucking strong upper mid range. That review was written by a cock.

Ah, the ol' "quivering middle finger in the face of those who don't care" bit. Things sure have changed with this fellow.

The joke is probably on us though, as he'll probably move a lot of these after this useless article.

I really love them right off the bat, and am using them every night on tour right now! The bottom line for me is that I really love the pickups you’re making. They sound as good or better than the vintage ones I’ve been playing, which is really saying something. Our tech guy’s also very impressed with the sound right off the bat, and the sound man loves em too!

Bring it bitches! LOL!

A whole 9 pages devoted to me? You guys obviously have a real fascination with Telenator.

All I have to do is drop a line here and all the sheep line up to bid homage.

You're so predictable. Carry on.

Just so can't go and strike this off the record, like a coward, the way you did last time you threw all your toys out of the pram.

Hardly anyone was a dick to you about this. All anyone wanted from you was a video demo with a side by side comparisons of your work with a vintage WRHB, which would have been interesting to watch. There is no reason to be a child about it.

Boring troll is boring.

This part of the story is much more interesting.
Dave wrote:All, Apologies for resurecting an age old thread but I think most who commented in this thread, especially Hurb as the champion of anti-douche, might be interested in developments over on an seemingly average O**set thread. This pseudo-WRHB dude who claimed he was 'not all about TEH EVIL BUSINESS' in this thread has just douched himself a nice one and started waving legal threats publicly at Novak in an obvious attempt to corner a market for his pseudo-take on a pickup he didn't even invent. Now Jason Lollar has got involved too... Looks like high-noon in pup-maker land.

Anyway I realise this is of minimal interest to many and tantamount to gossiping about the neighbours but hey I thought it would be good to point out that the shortscale spidey senses are Good and True....mods if you think this unessecary or hasty please take whatever actions deemed correct:

You know what the best part is though don't you, which is that this thread, and your posts in it, are going to show up on "Telenator" searches. Happy sales!

How interesting is it that when discussing another internet guitar forum member who also used the name "telenator" he recently said on the telecaster page:
Telenator wrote:The problem I'm facing is that a Google seaerch of Telenator brings ups 20+ pages relating to my business among other things. It took a long time to develop that kind of presence and it's essential to my business.

There have also been some, ahem, debates we'll call them, where I have been quoted as contradicting myself on other forums. When you start to blend the two identities into one, Telenator starts to come off as a self-contradicting nut case.

We have plans to further our business this year so this identity thing is becoming a bigger concern.
And then he comes here very open about being the pickup-building Telenator, and trolls. I mean, I'm legitimately concerned in a way... complex harmonics could be a little poetic cry for help in disguise.
